WAIKATO TO THE FORE.

We have received a telegram from Christchurch statine that the prize bullocks .sent from Matamata for exhibition at the show have gained first and seramd prizes and highly commended in their respective class. They were voted by all as the best ever shown in the colony. This should be most gratifying to breeders in this district, and Messrs Hunt and McNicol can be warmly congratulated for their pluck and enterprise in going to the trouble and expense they havu done in this matter, which reflects much credit upon the district generally.
