THE CABLE INTERRUPTED.
(BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH—COPYRIGHT.) Adelaide, November 8. The overland telegraph line between here and Port Darwin has Deen interrupted.
(UY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Wellington, Friday.
The Telegraph Department has been advised uuder yesterday's date, that communication on the Port Darwin line became interrupted this evening, north of the Peak, during a heavy thunderstorm. The West Australia cable had closed prior to the interruption. No cable busines can be got through to-nieht.
