CRICKET.
The first practice of the Paterangi Club takes place on Saturday next at 2 p.m. •harp, and should sufficient players turn up there will bo a scratch match played, Married v. Single. Invitations have been received to play at Tamaheru and Cambridge on the Otli November, and in view of the above matches it is to be hoped that there will be a good attendance of players at the practices every Saturday, paiticularly on Saturday next, as there will be a meeting on the ground to select a captain and a secretary for the season.
