KIRIKIRIROA ROAD BOARD.
The usual monthly meeting of the abo\ e Board was held in the Waikato County Council Chambers at 2 p.m. yesterday. There were present Messrs Primrose (chairman), Mac Lean, White and Edmonds. The minutes of last rneeling were confirmed and the outward corre.spondece read and adopted. Vacancy.—Owing to having been absent from four meetings Mr 11. Steele forfeited his seat, and the Clerk was instructed to take steps to have the vacancy filled. Finance. —The Clerk stated that the Board funds were £118 14s lid in debit. Accounts amounting to £32 Is 9d were passed for payment making a total of £153 19s 8d as the debit balance. Taupiri Road—Mr Mac Lean reported that tho road on the east side between Mr Rumney's place and Taupiri was in a bad state aud it was left to the surface man to do the repairs necessary. The chairman iii company with Messrs McLean and White were appointed to inspect tho road between Taupiri and Ngaruawahia and call for tenders to be sent in to the Chairman who was authorised to accept tho most suitable. Mangawhara Road.—Mr MacLeau \vas empowered to expend a small sum on drainage on the Mangawhara Road. Gray's Road.—During his visit t > Taupiri, the Chairman was deputed to report as to certain culv*rls on this road. This was all the business.
