RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT, CAMBRIDGE.
Yesterday.—(Before Captain Jackson, R.M.) Alfred Devitt pleaded guilty to stealing six corn sacks from W. B. Souter. His mother said he was 12 years of age, and completely out of her control. The magistrate ordered that ho should be sent to the Kohimariina Industrial School for three years. Robert Cann was charged with disturbing the Salvation Army services on September Ist. The charged was proved by Captain Wood and Lieutenant Grantham. The accused was fined 10s and £2 costs, which he immediately paid. Mr Dyer appeared for the informant. There were several undefended debt cases, but nothing of importance.
