CAMBRIDGE LICENSING COMMITTEE.

The adjourned monthly meeting of the above body was held at 2 p.m. yesterday. Present : Messrs Webber (chairman), Moon and Ferguson. The police reported that all the houses had been well-conducted during tho quarter. Re tho letter that had been received from the Good Templars at a previous meeting, it was decided to warn the publicans that it was the intention of the Committee to carry out the Licensing Act in a moro forcible maunor than heretofore, particularly those clauses relating to the supply of drink to intoxicated persons. This was all f.hn business.
