The fashion of taking wedding and dinner guests to the theatre is gaining greatly in popularity. Mr John Knox will hold his regular weekly sale at the Hamilton Auction Mart on Saturday next. Tenders are invited by the Raglan County Council for the office of caretaker for the punt at Ng.iruawahia and also for that at Churchill. A number of fresh entries have been made for Mr J. McNicol's special sale at Te Aroha on Saturday next. This sale should i a large attendance of buyers, as, in addition to the choice herd of dairy cows advertised, a laree number of horses, produce, poultry, implements, buggies, harness, &c., will be offered.
