CAMBRIDGE DOMAIN BOARD
The Cambridge Domain Board met yesterday at 3 p.m. Present : Messrs Wells (Chairman), Fisher, and Hewit. The minutes of last regular and special meetings were read and confirmed. Tbanskbrs.—The following allotments were transferred, the Board offering no ob-jection-.—Lot 7, from J. Brown to J. Young; lot 40, from J. Bull to H. S. McCrea; lots 3'J, 47 to fiO, from J. Bull to J. McNicol. Accounts. — John Adam?, who had cleaned and deepened the well in Lot. 90, was paid the amount of his account, £4. The following accounts were also passed for payment:—T. Wells, £119s; D. Richardson, £3 3s; Bond, £113s 2d ; Thomson, £7 10s 4d. Information, —A circular was received from Dr. Hector, asking for information regarding the domain grounds. The Secretary was instructed to furnish the information asked for. Finances.—The overdraft at date is £98, and £104 ot rent is now due. —The Clerk was instructed to send notices to all who were two quarters in arrear that they must pay within a month, or summonses would be issued. Cambridge West. —The Chairman said now was the time to do something to the Cambridge West Cemetery. It seemed it was no good leaving it to the committee that had been appointed, as they had not done anything.— It was resolved to call for tenders for clearing and grubbing the gorse and also for ploughing tho ground, tenders to be returnable on July 3rd. Land for Lease. —Lit 17, consisting of 3(5 acres, adjoining the Victoria road, will be let for a term at the next meeting of the Board. This was all the business.
