GISBOURNE MURDER
(J!V TELEGKAI'II.— PKIiSS ASSOCIATION.) Gisuohnk, Wednesday. The evidence of the natives given this morning in the Murder case, shows that two day's before the murder Haera To Piri was paid for grass seed cutting, one cheque- for himself, and one cheque ti: take to anothor native. That night the prisoner gambled with the other at Akuaru, and lost all his money. Next day (Tuesday), while wandering about very melanaholy, he said bad things, because he lost the money of his friend. On Wednesday > night he left Akuaru in the direction of Mataahu. He could not avoid passing Mataahu, in order to get to Kepnua (his home.)
