WAIORONGOMAL
Fire,—On Tuesday afternoon the boiling down establishment of Messrs Graves and Baskiville, nearly two miles outs-.ide this township, caught fire and was soon destroyed. From particulars gleaned, I learn that Mr Harry Baskiville had gone to the place and after lighting a tire went out towards the bush for a few minutes and on returning found the building in flames. Nothing could save it, as the fire had a firm hold, and a quantity of tallow and hides catching, very soon made ashes of the building. The loss to Messrs Graves and Baskiville is reckoned between £150 and £200. AcciDßNT.—Mr Geo. Adams, a miner, working in the New Find mine, met with an accident whilst hanging on to a running truck in tho mine whereby he received a rather severe injury to his thigh, which will incapacitate him from work for the next ten days at least
