Duncan McGregor, of Ngukumaru.near Pa tea, who has laid charges against Judge Rawsou, was brought up at the Polioe Court this morning, charged with the forgery of a promissory note for £20, and was remanded till to-morrow. WELLINGTON, Friday. In connection with the Jubilee Exhibition, the Government have undertaken to give the guarantors a subsidy of £10,000 iu lieu of erecting the buildings, and making the collections promised under their former agreement. A deputation representing the Ancient Order Oddfellows Manchester Unity attended at Government House this afternoon, and preseuted His Excellency with a farewell address. His Excellency suitably replied.
