LATEST AUCKLAND NEWS.
(by telegraph—own correspondent.) Auckland, Friday. Margaret MaHEB, a married woman, fell down dead to-daj'. Bradbnry, the missing draper, at whose premise* a fire occurred a fortnight agt, lias been adjudicated a bankrupt. Permission has been granted by the Waitemata County Council for the proposed poudrotte works at New Lynn. Patrick Bradford, for attacking his wife with an axe was bound over to keep the peace. M. McDormott is being tried to-day for the manslaughter of Kate Konnedy in Swanson street and is dafendnd by Mr Tole.
