HOME RULE.
(By electric telegraph—Copyright.) London, March 7. Mr Gladstone states he will adopt a neutral attitude until he saw the Government proposals for the settlement of tho Irish question. For himself he would heartily welcome a settlement from whatever quarter it came. Mr J. Aird appeals to both parties to secure a joint committee to consider the question.
