ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
|nv TELEGRAPH.— PRIMS ASSOCIATION') Ni:w Plymouth, Wednesday. A FATAL accident occurred on Monday n-;ar Inglewood. Daniel, Woodhead was about to unyoke his bullocks from, the dray, but before he had taken out a pair, one'of the animals started off crushing Woodhead between the pole of the dray and itself. The man was internally injured and died. Wellington, Wednesday.
Inspector Thomson received a, telegram from Upper Hutt this morning, in which it stat 'd that a man named Joe Ronse had hanged himself. Orlando Gorgravige, an old and respected settler, died suddenly at yesterday evening. A fata! accident happened to a daughter of Mr A. Grange, Tenui. She was playing with her brother when his hat blew off into the Tenui river, and in trying to save it she fell in, anil before assistance came was drowned. Her father recoveied the body within hrdf-an-honr afterwards.
