FIRE AT MORRINSVILLE.

Early yesterday morning tho Phcenix Hotel at Morrins'ville, the property of Mr J. Smith, was burned to the ground. There were only four persons in the hotel at the time, and they were aroused from sleep by tlie flames, and escaped with their lives with difficulty. Mr Missen, of Hamilton, was stopping at the hotel at the time and escaped by letting himself down the verandah post, and only succeeding in saving ii small portmanteau. Nothing appears to have been saved from tho building. We have 110 further particulars as to tho extent of the loss or insurance.
