(BY TKLBGIUPH.—I'UKSS ASSOCIATION , .) THAMES, Friday. A large thirty-stall stable,attached to the Sterling Hotel, Hikntaia, was destroyed by (ire yesterday morning. A quantity (if saddlery and harness, which was in the building, was also lost in the fire. John L. Stuvens is licensee of the hotel, and owner of the articles destroyed in the stable.
MASTERTON, Friday. Thos. Gwyuiio, aged 10, was found dead o:i the path near the back of the Wnipoiiii river yester.lay at 5 p.m. It ia supposed to 03 heart disease. A pest mortem and inquest is being held to-day.
WELLINGTOxY, Friday. The crons in the Wairarapaare looking splendid, and promise a substantial yield.
