(BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Auckland, Monday. Capt. Romerville telegraphs that the Union Company will make a reduction of thirty shillings in the saloon, and twenty shillings in tho steerage passages for volunteers desirous of going to the Centennial Rifle Match in Melbourne. At Mr Evan's property sale to-day, most lots were withdrawn. Fifty-six acres nt Horotiu, Parish of Waipa, fetched nine pounds.
