Two members of the Bootmakers Union were charged at the Police Court, to-day with insulting behaviour towards the men in Messrs Garrett Bros', employ who refused to go out on strike. After hearing evidence the case was adjourned. The Bench expressed a strong opinion that anything like terrorism must be (irmly put down. Mr Lushington, of Mahurangi, bought the late Mr Street's yacht, Muritai, for £450. Mrs Rendall, of North Shore, was admitted to the hospital suffering from severe burns. She is blind, and was working near the tire when her dress caught alight.
