THE HAMILTON CREAMERY.
The Auckland Dairy Association decided last week, to take over the Hamilton factory for the current season, and on Tuesday evening Mr Spragg came from Ngaruawaliin, accompanied by Mr Bycroft, and met the milk suppliers at the Waikato Hotel, to arrange about terms, etc. There were about a dozen present, and it was agreed to accept the company's offer of 2.Jd per gallon of milk of ten per cent, with |d added for every additional two and a half per cent of cream. The factory will begin operations on the Ist Oetober, with a guarantee of 400 cows which is an increase of 100 over last year's guarantee. There are, unfortunately, several farmers, such as Messrs S. G-raham, H. Swarbrick, and Edmonds, who were suppliers last season, that will not supply this year. The Company also agree to return to suppliers eighty per cent of the separated milk.
