THE AUSTRALIAN CRICKETERS.
(by kj.kctric telegraph—copyright). London, September 3. A match was commenced to-day at Harrogate between the Australian Eleven and an eleven of England. The Australians went Hrstto the wicket, but they made a poor stand, the last wicket falling when 70 runs hud been made. Trott, with 27 to his credit, was the highest scorer. The Englishmen in their first inninngs put together 111, and when the stumps were drawn the Australians in their second venture had made 11 runs without the loss of a wicket. In the cricket match the Australians against Eleven of England Turner took five wickets for G3, Ferris tnree for 3S, Worrall two for (i. September 4. In the match against Eleven of England, the Australians in their second innings have scored lil runs for five wickets, of which Worrall made 30. The team return by the Cuzco.
