HAMILTON ROAD BOARD.
A meeting of the Hamilton Road Board was held on Saturday at the ottice of the Board, the following members being present : Messrs Jones (chairman), Way, Atkinson and Maunder. The minutes of the previous meeting .and the correspondence having been read, it was resolved that the general rate of id in the S. for tha current year, as advertised, be confirmed. It was also resolved that post cards should bo sent to the Road Boards in the Waipa County, advertising that the time of the meeting of Road Board delegates to consider the question of dual rating wonld be at 12 noon on Tuesday, and that a telegram should be sent to the chairman of the Mount Wellington Road Board, informing him of tho time and placo of meeting. The following accounts were passed for payment;— Messrs Saudes and Co., 2s 0d ; J. S. Edgecumbe, 17s ; and J. Goodson, 10s.
