Waikato Hunt Club Kaces.
The above races will be held on Mr AllwilFa course, Hautapu, to-morrow. Tho first race will start at 1.15 p.m. punctually. The following is a complete list of horses entered and accepted, with the weights to be carried :—
The whole of the entries are bona fide, and all the horses are oxpected to go to the post, and should pive a very Rood day s sport, with close finishes. The privileges were sold by Messrs Hunter and Co. on Saturday, and resulted as follows Hates, £14 I'm, Hamblin ; publican's booth, £l>, C. il. White; tempsranco booth, £1, J. K. Pierce; cards, £1 10s, (J. \V. Himsell ; horse paddock, £1 ss, J. Allwill. Total, £21 10s. These are very satisfactory prices, and show that a good attendance is expected. The only thing that is wanted to ensure success is fine weather. The committee have worked most energetically to make the arrangements as complete as possible. Yesterday the indefatigable secretary, Mr A. Bach, waited upon the whole of the storekeepers in Cambridge, and got them to give a half holiday to-morrow, so that their assistants can attend.
