CONCERT AT TAUPIRI.
A very successful concert was given at Taupiri on Friday, the 22nd inst,, in aid of the Anglican Church funds. The schoolrotttn was crowded to excess, and even the porch was cccupisd by those who could not get seats. The concert consisted of vocal and instrumental solos and duets, among the performers were: —Mrs Gard, Misses Lovell, White, Jamas, Butcher, Clayton, and Messrs E. Ralph, Cox, White, and Skellern, the whole of whom acquitted themselvos in a manner appreciated by the audience. The concert was concluded by an original farce, composed by local authors, in which Messrs King, Hill, and Pane took part, the local hits creating great amusement, after which the proceedings terminated by a dance, which was continued till the small hours of the morning.
