MR RIGBY AND THE LAW SOCIETY.
♦ [nv TELEGRAPH —OW.N CORRESPONDENT.] Auckland, Wednesday. Me Buddle, cm behalf of the Law Society, submitted to Mr Justice Gillies two alf:idavits under which he wished His Honour to deal with the case of Wm. liigby, now before the court. Margaret Burrit, in her affadavit, stated that a William Ramble absconded with trust money amounting to £600, leaving her without means of subsistance. Fletcher Ritsou states he knew Wm. Ramble in Bolton, England, aud in ISS2 he absconded from that place. H« had £800 of his in trust money, which ho was never able to obtain after he absconded. He became a bankrupt, but his discharge had never been granted, and his name had not been removed from the professional rolls in England. Affidavits of Mr Brassy, identifying saveral letters, were also submitted. After reading these affidavits Mrßuddle asked His Honour to bring them before the Court of Appeal. His Honour replied that he would.
