Public opinion favours the stand taken by Prince Bismarck against tho marriage of Prince Alexander of Battenburg to Princess Victoria. Tho Cologne Gazette appeals to Prince Alexander's patriotism to refrain from pressing his suit. The Nord Deutsche Zeitung states that the betrothal of Prince Alexander and Princess Victoria has been abandoned. It is stated that the Emperor declined to accept the resignation of Prince Bismarck. Prince Alexander of Battenburg will arrive here on the ] 2th instant, and Her Majesty Queen Victoria on the 20th. Los box, April 6.
