♦ The aunuul meeting of the Hamilton Football Club was held hist Saturday in the Royal Hotel, Hamilton East. A small number of footballers were present. Mr Gribble was voted to the chair, Tho Hon. Sec. read the minutes of the last annual meeting, which were confirmed. The accounts of last season were submitted and passed, members expressing regret that the treasurer was out of pocket. Expenditure : Balance'duetreasurer, £5 17a 3d ; timber, 7s ■Id ; footballs, 17s Od ; advertising, 3s ; turkey red, 2s ; telegrams and stamps, 5s ; total, £7 12s Id. Receipts, £210s, per Mr N. I. Hunt, Cambridge Football Club contribution towards defraying expenses of trying to arrange a match with a New South Wales team ; subscriptions of Messrs dribble, W. N. von Stunner, Gwynne, Pillinc, Odium, Hopkins and Lawson, .fl 15s; total, W ss, leaving a balance due to the treasurer of £3 7s Id. Tho following officers were elected: President, Mr C. .r. W. Barton; vice-presidents, Messrs Geo. Edgecuniba anil T. G. Siuides; lion, .sec, Mr I'. E. Stevens. Tim latter declining the treasurership, Mr I , '. Hammond was chosnu. Captain for the season, Mr Gribble. Committee, Messrs W. Odium, Gribble, O'Neill, Cinnolly, Keep and Jolly. After some discussion it was resulvod to collect subscriptions, and hold another meeting next Saturday to arrange the team and practice.
