PRESENTATION TO REV. MR DELLOW.

Last evening the members and communicants of Trinity Wesleyan Church met f< r the purpose of making a presentation to the Rev. Mr Dellow, whoso period of ministry in this circuit is about to expire. After a substantial tea had been partaken of, Mr N. It. Cox presented Mr Dellow with a gold solitaire set, accompanied by an address, and Mrs Salmon'presented Mrs Dellow with a handsome silver cruet. The presentations were made on bahalf of the congregation. Air Dellow, in returning thanks, spoke at length upon the affairs, financial and otherwise, in connection with the circuit during the three years he had been in charge, and took a hopeful view of matters. He upheld the itinerent system, though he was sorry ho was about to leave. Thanking the many members of the congregation who had worked so heartily with him, he asked that their prayers and hearty sympathy might be accorded to his successor, the Rev. Mr Carr, of whom he spoke very highly. Mr Dellow, who has been appointed to the Greytown circuit, will preach his farewell sermons on Sunday next, at Ngaruawahia in the morning and Hamilton in the evening.
