CRICKET.

The Gordon C.C., Auckland, has not yet replied to the proposal from the Hamilton O.C. to play a Waikato team on Sydney Square, on the 31st inst., but it is expected they will do so. In the event of the match being definitely arranged, Cambridge has agreed to send two representatives to take part in it. A match between Hamilton and Cambridge will be played at Tamahere on Easter Monday, during the Fete to be held there. Wo hope a good pitch has been prepared, and the ground well rolled. Play will commence at noon.
