JAM FACTORY AT CAMBRIDGE.

Mu Henry Reynolds, in addition to his butter factory at Pukerituu, has taken up jam-making. A sample of his plum jam has been sent us and on its general get up it certainly rivals any of the imported article. In addition to its superior quality it has a further recommendation iu being within the reach of householders at a reduced price. With this, as with a number of other artioles of daily consumption produced in the country, it rests to a largo extent with cotismners to make ventures of this description successful to the promoter by purchasing articles of local production in preference to the imported one. In this way a large measure of real protection could be obtained.
