(by telegraph.—press association.) Wellington, Mond ay. At the election for the Harbour Board today, Messrs J, Duthie and J. Petherick were returned ; the unsuccessful candidates were Messrs J. Lachtnan and W. E. Tyson, The Crown Prosecutor has sworn an information against Reuben Hind for arson. Laing has intimate! his willingness to fight Slaven for any sum over £100. The figlit will probably be arranged to come off about eight weeks from date at Wanganui.
