TRINITY WESLEYAN CHURCH.
A congregational meeting was held at the above church on Wednesday night, to consider the best ineane of obtaining funds for the clearance of its standing debt. The Rev. J. Dellow occupied the chair. Mr N. R. Cox, circuit steward, made a financial statement, showing the circuit to be over £100 in debt. A somewhat breezy discussion ensued, one or two members objecting to the management »f the office-bearers and minister. It was eventually proved, however, that these gentlemen had worked faithfully and well for the weal of the church, and a committee was formed of some dozen members to arrange about a gift auction and sale of work, to be held as soon as practicable. In addition there will be an attractive concert arranged, which, with the larger affair, and the monetary assistance of friends, should rid the Church of this long-standing incubus. As the needs of the Wesleyan body have been very little before the public of late, it is earnestly hoped that the praiseworthy efforts of its members will be crowned with success,
