THE CAMBRIDGE CARNIVAL.
The whole of tho arrangements are now nearly complete. The schools have been transformed, so that even the scholars will have a difficulty in recognising them. The new school is a Japanese village, the next a fine art gallery; the infant school is arranged for the sale of fancy work and side shows, and the remaining one is fitted up as a theatre. In addition there are two large marquees for the dining and ice cream departments; and the Public Hall has been secured for the whole three days, so there will be no lack of room, even should the weather prove unfavourable. On Tuesday the grand procession will take place at 2 p.m., and will bo a most imposing spectacle. Everyone who is taking part in the fete is requested to be in attendance this afternoon, as everything must be finished before midnight.
