Meeting or the Road Board. —A special meeting of the trustees was field at the residence of Mr J. Gane, <m the 20th ult. Present: Mr J. Gane (chairman), Messrs H. Kusabs and A. Wallace. The following tenders for gravelling at Ohanpo were received and opened No. 1 Station road. Richard Norriih i Gravelling, 2s 3d per chain, and keeping said road in order for nine months, £3 extra. No. 1; Thomas Cowley, 2s lid per chain, and keeping in order for nine months, £3 10s extra. No. 1 ; A. Turn wall', 3s 5d per yard, including all repairs. Sn. 2 road : Richard Nnrrisb, 2s lid per yard, and keeping in order nine months, 20s extra. No, 2 ; Thus. Cowley, 2s ]ld per yard, and keeping in order, 30s extra. No. 2: A. Tnnnvald, 3s Ud per yard, including all repairs. No. 3; R. Norrish, 2s lid per yard, and keeping in order nine months, 20s extra. No. 3: Thou, fjowley, 2s lid per yard, and keeping in order, £3 extra. No. 3: A. Tnnnvald, ■ls 5d per yard, including all repairs. It was resolved to accept t)m tender of Richard Norrish for No. 1 contract, station road. Tenders for the other roads were declined. The trustees decided to call for tenders for claying 1(1 chains of McLaren’s mad west of the railway line. Mr H. Kusabs will show the work on Tuesday, Bth November, at noon. Accounts passed for payment, £5 2s.
