THE NEW HEBRIDES.
[reiitkk’s telegrams.] (Received Asgust 10th. 3.10 p m.) Paris, August 0. The official journals to-day announced that the Hon. .1. Kgerton, Secretary of the British Legation, had an interview yesterday with M. Fhmrins, Minister of Foreign Affairs, at which ho asked that the date should be named within which the French forces would evacuate the New Hebrides. M. Flourins stated that he was unable to reply precisely, so long as the intentions of Kngland in regard to Egypt and the proposed neutralisation of the Suez Canal remained undisclosed.
