THE WAIPA ELECTION.
Mu Campbell spoke at Kihikihi on Friday night. His address was well received. After answering questions to one of which he replied as beintr favourable to the immigration of Chinese, he received a vote of thanks and confidence, but as the resolution was moved and seconded by men who are known not to be favourable to Mr Campbell’s candidature it is quite evident it was not meant. Mr Klmsly, chairman of the town board, was in the chair.—(Own Correspondent).
