MR J. B. WHYTE AT HUKANUI.

Mr Whyte held a meeting at Hnkanni last night. There was a good muster of electors present, several ladies also attending. Mr A. Primrose, Chairman of the Waikato County Council, was voted to the chair. Mr Whyte spoke for above an hour, and carried the meeting entirely with him. Several questions wore asked, and satisfactory answers were elicited. A vole of thanks and confidence, coupled with the determination that every elfoit would be put forward by his supporters in this part of the district, to ensure his election, was carried unanimously. The meeting concluded with the usual vote of thanks to the chair.
