Smith leaves for Auckland by the Wanaka next .Monday, to be followed by a representative, wlio is leaving on Thursday to inspect the auriferous deposits on his property, on behalf of a number of people, who will take shares pending a favourable reply. Sir Janies Hector’s, Captain Hutton’s, Mr Bickerlon’s, and the Government reports are printed in pamphlet style, and are ci eating considerable interest throughout Christchurch. The prospectuses and plans will he issued within a fortnight, for forming the northern part of Mr Smith s property into a company.
