THE RIGHT OF TEACHERS TO EXPEL.
TO THK KrUTOII. Sin, —In your issue of the 7th July there appears a most gushing .local in re the action of the School Committee upholding the right of the head teacher of the Hamilton West School to expelling children for irregular attendance. We have already in your columns seen what the Auckland Evening Star thinks of the said committee, and are now waiting patiently for the signal. When will the Board of Education let us know their ultimatum. —Yours truly, Sues.
