THE WAITOA GOLD FIND.
[by telegraph—press association.) We I. LI N f iTON, W ed n esday. The Geological Department have completed an analysis of auriferous sand from Mr J. B. Smith’s property, Waitoa. The analysis was of a very satisfactory character disclosing the presence of a payable quantity of gold. The result has been forwarded to Mr Smith, at Christchurch.
