The review of troops at Longchamps passed off without any tumult, the citizens conducting themselves in an orderly manner. It is feared, however, that disorders will yet arise, and the necessary precautions are being taken by the authorities. A procession of 2000 members of the Patriotic League marched to the Place de la Concorde, and placed wreaths upon the statues of Strasburgh and Joan of Arc. A large crowd assembled, and applauded the action of the League, and there were a few cries of “ Vivo Boulanger! ’ [press association.] London, July 15. President Grcvy was strongly escorted in his passage through the streets of Paris yesterday. He was assailed with persistent hissing, and shouts of Vivo B mlangcr !” Rioting was prevented by the completeness of the military precautions.
