♦ [BY TELEGRAPH.-COPYRIGHT.] [REDTER's TKLEGRAMS.I Sydney, April 26. The thirty-eighth annual meeting of the members of the Mutual Provident Society was held yesterday. The annual report was adopted with unimportant alterations. A discussion took place on the subject of a pension to the retiring secretary. It was decided to adopt the report, without, however, deciding on the motion against the proposed pension. This is not regarded as approving of the same by the meeting. Messrs King and Mellhone's motions were withdrawn, and are to be discussed when the by-laws come up for consideration oh the 16th of May. The result of the election of directors will be made known this m»rni?ig.
