[PKESS ASSOCIATION.] Chiuhtchurck, Saturday. At the shooting to-day fine weather was again experienced. Howe, of Wellington, won the first prize in the West Const match, 'and Handely, of Auckland, first in the Otago match. The following are the positions for the Belts :—Rifles—Little, Auckland, 411: White, Auckland, 3!>(>; Johnston, Olutha, 386. Carbines—McGorkindale, Oamaru, 392; Howe, Wellington, 390 ; Parslow, Auckland 388. Only one more, match remains to be fired, and then the final stapre to decide the winners of the Belts. The Championship will be decided on Monday afternoon. THE LATEST. CitiusTCHUßCir, Monday. A strong southerly gale was blowing down the range to-day. The New Plymouth match, and the last for either belt are finished, France, Wellington, winning the first prize, More, Woodville, 2nd ; Rcnnington, Wanganui 3rd, and Ballinger, Wellington, Mi. The following are the five highest aggregates for the belts:— RIFLES. Little, Auckland iwii White, Auckland ii-14 Johnstone, Clutha 434 Okey, Taranaki 432 Kemsall, Taieri 430 CAKIHNKS. McCorkingdale, Oamaru 451 Parslow, Auckland - 440 Webster, Auckland 440 Eiowo, Wellington 421 Drummond, .Napier 42ii Owing to the gale this morning the final stages for the Championship were not fired, but it is intended to finish them the first thing to-morrow.
