« [by telegraph.--own correspondent.] Pakkoa, Monday. The newly-elected Licensing Commissioners sat to-day, and elected Mr Francis Lipsey as chairman. It was resolved that samples be taken of the liquors sold, and forward to Auckland for analysis. A considerable amount of business was transacted at the R. M. Court to-day, but of no outside interest. The contractors for Railey's tramway have started work.
