Tk Alton a, Wednesday. In the R.M. Court yesterday, Mr Stratford presiding, there was only one case lieard, G. 'Gapes v. R. Nelson, in which plaintiff sued for £15 damages, for detention of two horses belonging to him, and which had been put out to graze on defendant's farm. The animals were detained by defendant because of the nonpayment of the charges which he alleged had been agreed upon between himself and plaintiff. Defendant was adjudged to 2* damages, and costs amounting to 255. In the Warden's Court, J. B. Smith made an application to have the licensed holding, recently applifid for liy him included in the Premier Extended, ii special claim now being surveyed for P. Ferguson and Cn. The application was granted. Gordon and party, and Maicey and party, holders respectively of piece* of ground within the boundaries of Ferguson's special claim, applied to have their ownership of the same recognised. It was agreed that their possession of the ground should not be disturbed. A discussion took place between the warden and representatives of the domain board and the Church of Eneland vestry, relative to the extension of Koromiko and Kotuku-streets, through the sections taken up by these bodies on the side of Boundarystreet next to the domain. The Warden was of opinion that the extension of both streets was necessary, and ordered that they should be surveyed to the domain boundary, half a chain in width through the sections referred to, instead of a full chain as in the main portion of the same streets extending northward from Boun-dary-street.
