CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL AND INTERNATIONAL FETE, HAMILTON, DECEMBER 27, 28 & 29, To Liquidate the Debt on S. Pktbr's Church, Hamilton.

THE above will be held in the ODDFELLOWS' HALL, Hamilton, to which a temporary building of equal area will be added. These will be fitted up with numerous small buildings, illustrating the architecture of various countries, including the following :—: — French Stall, for the sale of fancy work, etc., the ladies in attendance being dressed in the costumes of Boulogne, Normandy, Brittany, and other districts of France. Dutch Museum of modela, pictures, curiosities, etc., illustrating the manufactures, costumes, and customs of the people of the Netherlands, the ladies in attendance weariug the costumes of Zeeland, S. Holland, Friesland, and other provinces.—Admission, sixpence. Swiss Stall, for sale of needlework, fancy goods, etc., presided over by ladiea in the costumes of the various Cantons. Indian Museum* containing shawls, needlework, carvings, curiosities, pictures, etc., illustrating the manufactures and customs of the natives of India, the ladies in charge wearing the costumes of that country. — Admission, sixpence. Tyrolese Shooting Gallery for rifle practice. Spanish Picture Gallery, without doubt the most remarkable collection ever exhibited in New Zealand. This will be in charge of ladies wearing various Spanish costumes. Admission, sixpence. Moorish Fortune-teller. Norwegian Christmas Tree for the sale of toys, needlework and small articles suitable for presents, the ladies in attendance wearing Norwegian costumes. German Restaurant in charge of ladies wearing costumes of the Black Forest, Elsass, Hamburgh, Bavaria, &c. Beef, Ham, Lamb, Chicken, Tongues, &c, Tarts, Puddings, Custards, Cakes, &c, Strawberries and Cream, Fruits, Tea, Coffee, Cocoa, Iced Milk, Lemonade, Iced Drinks. The One Shilling Lunch, consisting of Ham, Beef, Lamb, or Corned Beef, Potatoes, Pudding or Tart, Ten or Milk. Ice Cream Stall.

There will be entertainments each afternoon and evening in accordance with the following PROGRAMME :- Monday Afternoon— 12 noon, Hall open for viewing various Courts. 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Promenade Concert. 2 p.m., Procession of Children to Sydney Square. 3 p.m., May pole Dance on Sydney Square. 3.30 p.m., Comic Cricket Mateh — Outdoor Sports. 4.30 p.m. May-pole Dance. Monday Evening— 7 p.m. Hall open for viewing Courts, &c. 8 p.m., Comedy, "Cool as a Cucumber." 9 p.m. Promenade. 9.30 p.m., Farce, "Box and Cox.'" Tuesday Afternoon— 12 noon, Hall open for viewing Courts, &c. 1 p.m., Promenade Concert. 3 p.m., Pantomine. Tuesday Evening— 7 p.m., Hall open for Viewing Courts &c. 8 p.m., Concert 9 p.m., Promenade 9.30 p.m., Tableaux Vivants. Wednesday Afternoon— 12 noon, Hall open for Viewing Courts &c. lpm., Promenade Concert 3 p.m., Pantomine. Wednesday Evening— 7 p.m., Hall open for Viewing Courts &c, 8 p.m., Limelight Entertainment 9 p.m., Promenade 9.30 p.m., Christy Minstrel Entertainment. String and Brass Bands in attendance each day. Admission— To Sydney Square for Maypole Dance and Sports, 1 shilling. To including an afternoon or evening's entertainment, 1 shilling, Season ticket admitting holder to all six entertainments in the hall, three shillings. Reserved Seats— For the convenience of persons wishing to secure seats beforehand, a certain number of seats will be numbered and reserved for each entertainment. Plan may be seen and places secured on application to Mr R. F. Sandes, Hamilton West, or to Mr P. Le Quesne, Hamilton East.
