LATE CABLE NEWS. [REUTERS TELEGRAMS.] London, December 1.
A comfkrrnce between the committee of the Imperial Institute and the AgentsGeneral took place to-day, when the point* of disagreement relative to the management of the Institute were discussed. The proceedings were of a most satisfactory char acter. The committee promised th it colonial legislation as to the Impel ial Institute should bo fully secured. All suggestions m;ide by the Agents-Ueueral will lie carried out, but the natutc of their suggestions has not vet transpired. Mr John Morley, addressing a public meeting at Howick last night declared th.it the outlook for Ireland as present was \ery bad, and that social order in tint country, and the settlement of the land question, was not obtainable without Home Rule.
