EMBROGLIO AT THE AUCKLAND LUNATIC ASYLUM. Resignation of the Whole Staff.
The appointment of Dr Cremonini as medical superintendent of the Auckland Lunatic Asylum does not appear to have been attended with happy results ao far. The doctor is charged with being tyrannical and overbearing in his manner toward* the staff of official*, and to such an extent that Mr Thompson, the secretary, sent a telegram to l)r McGregor, the Inspector of Asylums at Wellington acquainting him with the state of affairs. On Dr McGiegor's arrival at tho asylum, Mr George Hardy, the principal attendant, tendered his resignation ; this was followed by that of ths whole staff.
