Thk Sutro mine is not able to keep pace with Raiby's mill, although a number of extra hands have been put on. The pans are working very well. Adklink. — The tailings from the Tvanhoe battery, of which there are 40 tons are now being delivered to Paeroa where they will be sent per Kotuku to the Thames next week. Carting the ore for tho Thames commences almost immediately.
Comstock. — Some remarkably good pioces of chloride of silver are to hand. A parcel is being taken out for Raiby's pan«.
Lkamington.— The manager has tapped the reef in the drive with favouiable prospects.
Eomont (late Antiquary). — Tn sinking on the reef occasional colours are come across, but nothing as yet to warrant saving the ore.
