A mekting of those interested in holding the above was held in the National Hotel, Cambridge, on Friday last at 8.30 p.iH., Mr Russell in the chair. Expenditure : Prizes, £o."> 17s ; band, £7 los ; printing, £11 18s ; preparing ground, £0 3a ; sundry small account, £3 (>-» 2d ; balance in bank, £0 2s lOd ; total, £91 2s Gd.— G. W. Ruhsrll, Tieasurcr. Audited and found correct.— A. G. Mac a ha. The Chairman moved the adoption of the balance-sheet. Seconded by Mr Gillett and carried. The Chairmvti said he thought they would be ible to hold another meeting, but they could not hope for such a good one, times being much worse than twelve months ago. Mr Cox moved and Mr Porter seconded a motion that sports be held Monday, the 27th December.— Carried. The following gentlemen were appointed a o mimittee to arrange particulars : — Messrs T. B. Lewis, W. S. Stewart, G. W. Russell, A. Bach, W. McMillan, T. L. C<»x, T. W. C.irr, G. McCann, A. G. Hughes R. Kirkwood, R. Wood, D. O'L .ughlin, C. Roberts J. McNicol, W. B ich, C. Tuck, W. Turnbull, A. Soutter, H. Gillett. The Chairman spoke in terms of great commendation of the worth of the secretary, Mr Westby ; he further moved that the gentleman named be re-appointed, remuneration to be fixed by the committee. —Seconded by Mr C«x and carried nnanimously. It was resolved that the meeting of the committee be held on Friday next, and the secretary was requested to notify the same in the papers. A vote of thanks to the chairman closed the meeting.
