[RKUTKH'a TKLKGRAMH.] Sydney, October r>. A MAN named Joe Adams, alias CatFicy, has been arrested at Fcrmnmuit on suspicion of having committed the murder at the Great Barrier Island. A revolver and .some cartridges and a piratic.il flap have been found hi his swag. The prisoner denied ever having been in New Zealand, but his appearance exactly anawern the description of Catfrey. His mate, Perm, has not yet been traced. The prisoner has been remanded. A quantity of wreckage and ship's stores has been found at Port Macquarie, as well as a board bearing the name " Auckland." Wellington, Tuesday. Caffrey is known to have the figure of a woman tatooed on the breast. The man who has been arrested in New South Wales has a similar figure, but also has the American flag, which is not kuuwn to occur on Caffrey 'a body. Telegrams are now passing between the authorities with a view to closer identification.
